Downloadable files
Abstract
Provides a template and description of code changes for Lotus Domino Document Manager 6.5.1 that allow group membership expansion for secondary directory.
Download Description
This sample contains code changes that allow you to add functionality to Lotus Domino Document Manager 6.5.1 to expand the list of members invited to a file cabinet for groups located in a secondary Domino Directory.
The contents of the download package are as follows:
ExternalNABs.nsf, a database containing the new or modified design elements
ExternalNABs.doc, a document that describes each design change
Prerequisites
Lotus Domino Document Manager 6.5.1
Lotus Domino Designer client
Lotus Domino Administrator client and the Domino Document Manager Administrator ID, for signing the design elements
Installation Instructions
These changes should be completed by someone experienced with Domino application development.
Make a backup of the File Cabinet template (filecab.ntf) or Library template (domdoc.ntf).
If you have modified the standard File Cabinet template (filecab.ntf) or Library template (domdoc.ntf), first review the list of changed elements in ExternalNABs.doc to see if you have modified these specific elements. If you have modified these elements, you may need to manually make the changes described.
If you have not modified the affected design element(s), then do the following:
1. Using Lotus Domino Designer, delete the design elements to be changed: CacheGroupMembers agent, and the Script Libraries FileCabUtilities, LDAP_LS_FC, and LDAP_LS_DD.
2. Copy the elements from the sample ExternalNABs.nsf.
3. Paste them into the appropriate template. Use the description in ExternalNABs.doc to see which design elements belong in which template (library or file cabinet).
4. Sign the templates with the Document Manager Administrator ID.
5. To roll out the changes immediately, run the design task on the Domino server by entering Load Design on the console.
