Firefox 3 support availability for Domino Web Access (iNotes)

 Technote (FAQ)

Question
When will Firefox 3 be a supported Web browser for use with Lotus Domino Web Access (DWA) or Lotus iNotes? Because Firefox 3 was released after certain versions of DWA or iNotes, it was not included as a supported browser.

Answer
Domino Web Access 7 supports the use of Firefox 3 with the latest 7.0.3 hotfix release. This hotfix can be obtained by contacting IBM Support.

Version 8.0.2 of Domino Web Access (iNotes) shipped with a preliminary set of fixes for Firefox 3 support. A more comprehensive set of fixes is available as an 8.0.2 DWA Hotfix. This hotfix can be obtained by contacting IBM Support.

Versions 7.0.4 will include full support of Firefox 3 when they are released.

Version 8.5 of iNotes (DWA) will include full support for Firefox 3 when released.
