Problem
Using the Lotus Notes Client can we copy paste the contacts which are stored in the mail database to another mail database or to a personal address book ?
Resolving the problem
Yes, we can copy paste the contacts which are stored in the mail database to another mail database or to a personal address book. You can also copy the contacts from your personal address book to mail file.
Steps for copying the contacts from mail file-
1) Using the Notes client open the mail file from where you want to copy the contacts.
2) Go to Actions->Domino Web Access->Open Mail File Copy of Contacts.
3) It will open your Local Contacts which are stored in the mail file as shown below.
4) You can now copy the contacts and paste in your personal address book or another mail file.
5) You can also copy the contacts from your personal address book and paste into the mail file, in the above shown view.
