This document addresses problems with storage when you run IMS Index Builder with Syncsort.

Answer

If you encounter storage problems using Syncsort with IMS Index Builder, contact Syncsort support at West Coast Technologies (WCT) to ensure that you have the appropriate Syncsort fixes. WCT Syncsort made changes to their product with Fix SY54800 to help with Index Builder storage issues. WCT Syncsort might have other fixes addressing storage problems. Other customers have received Fix SY57060 and usermod SZ00780 from WCT Syncsort.
