This version of the product was developed for use with Eclipse 3.4.2, using the IBM JDK 1.6 SR 5. If you are extending an existing Eclipse environment, these are prerequisites. Ensure that you have one of the following Web browsers to view
the readme file and the installation guide:
- For Windows: Microsoft® Internet Explorer
6.0 with Service Pack 1.
- Mozilla 1.6 or 1.7.
- Firefox 2.0 or higher.
Supported data sources: IBM Optim Development Studio, Version 2.2 supports the following data sources: - DB2® for Linux, UNIX®, and Windows Versions 8.2 (FP 11 or higher), 9.1, 9.5, and 9.7
- DB2 for iSeries® V5R3 and V5R4
- DB2 for z/OS® Versions 8.1, 9.1 (compatibility mode), and 8.1 and 9.1 (new function mode)
- IBM Informix Dynamic Server Versions 10.0, 11.1 and 11.5
- Oracle Database Versions 10g, 10g R2, 11g
Driver support: IBM Optim Development Studio, Version 2.2 requires the following drivers: - Oracle clients:
- Oracle Database Version 11g Release 1 JDBC Drivers
