Probe on DS8K failed with error code: HWN021503E

Abstract
This is a known issue on TPC 3.3.2.90 when running DS cimom 5.3.x. TPC probes fail with error message:

HWN021503E An internal error occurred, please try again.
 
Content
Cimom discovery will complete successfully, but probes to DS8K end with these messages:
    HWN021503E An internal error occurred, please try again. If the problem persists, please contact IBM service.
    HWN021709I Collection for storage system 2107.XXXXX+0 completed.
    BTADS0001I Discover Process with Device Server RUN ID 116016 and Job ID 262104 is complete with Status= 4 , Return Code= 10013 .

To avoid this issue, install DS cimom versions 5.2.x or 5.4.x, or defer the upgrade to TPC version 3.3.2.90 until a fix is issued in a later TPC patch release.
