Rational Business Developer V7.1.0.1 does not coexist with Rational HATS V7.1

Abstract
If IBM® Rational® Business Developer V7.1.0.1 is already installed, installing Rational HATS V7.1 into the same package group results in IBM Installation Manager error messages such as "Component org.eclipse.ve.feature required by component com.ibm.hats.feature was not found." IBM Installation Manager also issues a similar message if Rational Business Developer V7.1 and HATS V7.1 are installed into the same package group and Rational Business Developer is updated to V7.1.0.1.

Note: This issue has been fixed with Rational Business Developer V7.1.0.1 Interim Fix 001. HATS V7.1 does coexist with Rational Business Developer V7.1.0.1 Interim Fix 001.

If you need to use Rational HATS with Rational Business Developer, do not install Rational Business Developer V7.1.0.1. If you already have Rational Business Developer V7.1.0.1 installed, either rollback to V7.1 or install another instance of Rational Business Developer V7.1 without the fixpack into a separate package group and then install Rational HATS.

If you need fixes included in the Rational Business Developer V7.1.0.1 fixpack, install another instance of Rational Business Developer into a separate package group without Rational HATS and update that instance of Rational Business Developer to V7.1.0.1.
