Operating SystemFoundation Pack (Server):
  • Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition SP2 (32 and 64 bit kernel support)
  • Windows® Server 2008 Standard Edition SP1 (32 and 64 bit kernel support)

Note: The Windows XP and Vista platforms for IBM Business Services Foundation Pack and WebSphere Process Server v7.0 are ONLY supported in the WebSphere Integration Developer v7.0 test environment and are not to be used for Production usage.

Tool Pack(Client):

  • Windows XP Professional SP2 (32 bit kernel support)
  • Microsoft Vista (Business & Enterprise Edition) (32 bit kernel support)
  • Windows XP Professional with FFDC SP2 (32 bit kernel support)
  • Microsoft Vista (Enterprise Edition) SP2 with FFDC (32 bit kernel support)
  • Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition SP2 (32 and 64 bit kernel support)
  • Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition SP1 (32 and 64 bit kernel support)

  • Minimum 2 GB physical memory; 4 GB recommended

Web BrowsersA Web browser is required for administration and configuration, and sample program execution. There is no restriction or certification of Web browsers on clients that connect to the server to display content.

The following products are supported by WebSphere Business Services Fabric installation and can be connected to and accessed remotely:

  • DB2 UDB for Unix/Linux and Windows v8.2 fp6 (aka v8 fp13)

Notes:
1. The Tool Pack client is ONLY supported on Windows Operating System.
2. This page describes the minimum product levels that must be installed before opening a problem report with the WebSphere Business Service Fabric support team. Because other products frequently ship fixes, updates, and new releases, testing every configuration is not possible. In general, you can install and run with minor updates to supported products if those updates are forward compatible.
