Abstract
This document contains system requirements for IBM® WebSphere® Business Services Fabric V6.2 Foundation Pack on Solaris SPARC.

  • Sun Solaris 10 with the latest Patch Cluster (32 and 64 bit kernel support)
Hardware Requirements
  • Sun Solaris operating environment compatible SPARC at 440MHz or faster
  • Minimum 1 GB physical memory; 2 GB recommended
  • CD-ROM drive
Databases
  • DB2® Enterprise Server Edition 8.2 Fix Pack 6 or Fix Pack 7
  • DB2® Enterprise Server Edition 9.1 Fix Pack 1 or Fix Pack 2
  • DB2® Enterprise Server Edition 9.5
  • Oracle 10g Enterprise Edition Release 2 - 10.2.0.2
  • Oracle 11g Enterprise Edition Release
Application Server
  • WebSphere Process Server 6.2
LDAP Servers
  • IBM Tivoli® Directory Server
  • Microsoft® Windows® Active Directory
Registry and Repository
  • WebSphere Service Registry and Repository 6.2
Web Browsers
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer® 6 Fixpack 1 or higher, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
Note: A Web browser is required for administration and configuration, sample program execution, and the launchpad. There is no restriction or certification of Web browsers on clients that connect to the server to display content.
JMS providers
  • WebSphere MQ 5.3 Fix Pack 13 or later
  • WebSphere MQ V6.0.2
  • WebSphere Application Server default messaging provider

Notes:
The Tool Pack (client) is not supported on Solaris.
