Search for user ID is case-sensitive

 Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem
A user search in IBM Workplace Collaboration Learning 2.7.0.3 suddenly becomes case-sensitive. For example, when you go to Learning Management --> Users --> Manage Users, and search for the user ID, 'Wpsadmin" or "W*", nothing is returned. If you use lower case ("wpsadmin" or "w*"), the search is successful.
This did not occur in releases before Workplace Learning 2.7.0.3.

Resolving the problem
This issue was reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# CLOH7KFKGX and was fixed in version 2.7.0.4. If you haven't yet upgraded and experience this situation, contact Product Support to see if a hotfix is available for your particular configuration.
