What is FDCC?
Federal Desktop Core Configuration (FDCC) on Windows XP and Vista is a mandate issued by the U.S. Federal Government. All agencies must comply with the new standard by February 1, 2008. The government requires that vendors self-certify to the FDCC in order to meet procurement requirements on the Microsoft® platforms.
