TM1 9.4.1 FP2 server may crash if cube is deleted

 Flash (Alert)

Abstract
A performance optimization put into TM1 9.4.1 FP2 creates the possibility of a server crash after deleting any cubes on the server.

Content
It is possible in the short term to set a configuration parameter in the tm1s.cfg that turns off the new behavior and would thus avoid this potential crash.

IBM Cognos support recommends anyone running 9.4.1 FP2 turn it off until a fix can be provided. It does require restarting the server after making the change.

Parameter to put in the tm1s.cfg:

InvalidateRuleDependenciesOnDataChange=T

or

InvalidateRuleDependenciesOnDataChange=True

Then restart the server.
