Abstract
This technote provides a roadmap to documentation that you should read before upgrading to IBM Rational Team Concert 2.0 and some key technotes.

Read the documentation below before proceeding with your upgrade to Rational Team Concert 2.0:
  • If you are using IBM WebSphere Application Server V6.1, upgrade per this technote:

    PK85942: WebSphere 6.1.0.23 JDK5 SR9 fixes for Rational Team Concert 2.0

  • Avoid SPAM emails by taking these pre-migration steps. Technote: 1391225

  • Ensure that the application server and repository database servers have the correct time. Technote: 1384400
  • The general repository upgrade steps to Rational Team Concert 2.0 are:
    1. Export the database/repository contents into a tar file.
    2. Upgrade the Rational Team Concert Jazz server to 2.0.
    3. Use the repotools in the new 2.0 and import into a new database/repository.
