Abstract
The Visual Configuration Explorer (Tech Preview) tool provides a way to visualize, explore, and analyze configuration information from diverse sources.
 
 
Content
Visual Configuration Explorer (VCE) is a visual tool for middleware configuration exploring, analysis, and problem diagnosis. VCE allows you to visualize your middleware configuration and easily search for specific property values, compare snapshots of different configurations and generate and share configuration analysis results.
Some of the things you can do with the Visual Configuration Explorer include:
  • Create diagrams that show configuration information in a graphical format, including key relationships between configuration elements
  • Access detailed configuration properties
  • Compare configurations
  • Save and restore your work
  • Collaborate with others by exchanging the tool's files

VCE analyzes data from DB/2, WebSphere MQ, WebSphere Application Server, Tivoli Directory Server, WebSphere Portal, and WCCM on multiple platforms.
