Abstract
Install IBM Support Assistant Lite to quickly collect diagnostic files so your problem can be solved faster. IBM Support Assistant Lite provides quick deployment of IBM Support Assistant's data collection tool. It is customized to automate product specific data collection.

Why collect data manually when IBM Support Assistant Lite can do it for you? IBM Support Assistant Lite knows the data files that IBM Support analysts need to identify, diagnose, and recover from occasional operational problems with IBM products. By using IBM Support Assistant Lite, you can collect files automatically and package them for sending to IBM or for your own analysis.

IBM Support Assistant Lite collects data transparently -- all collected data is available in a local zip file for your inspection and analysis. IBM Support Assistant Lite does not send your data anywhere without your consent. If you wish, you can easily transport the collector file to IBM.
