Abstract
The IBM Master Data Management Server team is pleased to announce the latest release of its industry leading CDI (Customer Data Integration) offering, IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management Server v8.5. This release comprises a number of exciting new product features and enhancements.

The latest release of InfoSphere Master Data Management Server v8.5 delivers:
  • Enhanced ease of use via new user interface and reporting capabilities
    • A new sophisticated user interface generator for simplified user interface creation, customization, and use. This model-driven, role-based generator allows for the automatic generation and regeneration of comprehensive user interfaces and supports integration with nongenerated user interface screens.
    • Data stewardship user interface enhancements, including advanced vertical collapse functionality that allows a data steward to review (in side-by-side mode) and collapse multiple duplicate suspects at the same time.
    • A new soft-attribute definition for the product user interface as part of the InfoSphere Master Data Management Server Workbench feature.
    • New reporting capabilities, delivered as samples, for data stewardship and general performance management of InfoSphere Master Data Management Server. The report selection values are entered through a new user interface. New sample capabilities include reports for new contracts, system counts, high net worth parties, suspects collapsed summary, person and organization suspects requiring resolution, new suspects requiring resolution, new parties, client claims, and party demographics.
  • New rapid deployment capabilities to streamline batch data loading
    • Prebuilt load jobs make it faster and easier to load data, supporting the loading of very large volumes of data into IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management Server via IBM InfoSphere Information Server.
    • Help customers get up and running faster, which can help drive down costs, and allow a focus on deriving business value from mastering data more quickly.
  • New features and enhancements for the Product, Account, and Party domains
    • Product domain: Enhanced product and category attributes; enhanced product search capabilities
    • Account domain: New account agreement dynamic attributes; enhanced account agreement management
    • Party domain: Enhanced party hierarchy services
