Determining P8 Versions and Fix Pack Levels

Cause

Need to identify what P8 software is installed on a server and how to determine what levels of FileNet components are compatible.

Answer

Use the information in the Technical Notice to determine the software level, including the fix pack level, of the P8 components installed on any server. The Technical Notice also provides a high-level overview of the types of support releases generated for the FileNet Family of Products.

Note: this only applies to FileNet P8 release levels 4.5.0 and lower.
