This page describes the minimum product levels that need to be installed before opening a problem report with the Lotus Quickr V8.0 Support team. Because other products frequently ship fixes, updates, and new releases, testing every configuration is not possible. In general, you can install and run with updates to supported products if those updates are forward compatible.
The list below identifies the supported products that work withIBM Lotus Quickr V8.0 on an i5/OS operating system.The supported product can run, but does not need to run, on the same machine or operating system where the WebSphere Portal runs. Check product-specific software requirements to determine whether software runs native or connected to the WebSphere Portal.
Processor: CPU speeds of late-model, mid-range to high-end servers are recommended, such as the following System i models: i5 520 or larger, 730, 740, 800 (with processor feature 2464 or greater) or larger 8xx models.
Web browsers
(required for administration/configuration, sample program execution and launch pad. There is no restriction nor certification of Web browsers on clients that connect the server to display content)
