Does Lotus Quickr services for Lotus Domino support FIPS 140-2?
 
Cause
FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standard) is a standard to improve the security of data. In customer environments where the security of data is essential, this higher standard of encryption might be required.
 
Answer
FIPS 140-2 is not supported with the following versions of Lotus Quickr services for Lotus Domino:
  • Lotus Quickr 8.0 services for Lotus Domino
  • Lotus Quickr 8.0.0.2 services for Lotus Domino
  • Lotus Quickr 8.1 services for Lotus Domino

FIPS 140-2 is supported with the following version of Lotus Quickr services for Lotus Domino with the designated environment:

  • Lotus Quickr 8.2 services for Domino with IBM Edge Server 6.0.2 as a Reverse Proxy.
    FIPS 140-2 must be enabled on the IBM Edge 6.0.2 server.
