Troubleshooting


Problem

Upon selecting the desired model in the RMV selection page, the generation of list from entities (Focal Entity, Parent and Grand Parent Entity) takes too long to be filled out.

Cause

Resource Metric Viewer (RMV) Selection Page encounters slow performance in filling data for entities (Focal Entity, Parent and Grand Parent Entity)

Resolving The Problem

Steps to perform:

1. Create a back-up of dao folder
<TIP-LOCATION>/tipv2/profiles/TIPProfile/installedApps/TIPCell/isc.ear/tnpmrmv.war/WEB- INF/classes/com/ibm/tivoli/tnpm/cognos/wireless/rmv/ui
2. Copy and extract the dao file (attached file: dao.zip) in the same location stated in step 1
3. Relogin TCR and continue to RMV reporting.
