Latest News

On September 28, IBM released the Maximo 6.2.5 Fix Pack. With the release of Maximo 6.2.5, customers wishing to upgrade to Maximo v7 must either wait until the Q4 release of Maximo Base Services (MBS) 7.1.1.6 or ensure their Maximo 6.2 system is at the 6.2.4 Fix Pack level. Once MBS 7.1.1.6 is released in December, you can then upgrade from Maximo 6.2.5

Maximo Support recommends that you review the Maximo 6 to 7 Upgrade Guide prior to attempting your upgrade. Today, your Maximo system must be at version 6.2.4 prior to upgrading to version 7. If you have an Industry Solution(s) installed to your system, use the links below to determine your upgrade requirements.

Customers starting at Maximo versions 4 or 5 should ensure they have the latest Maximo 5 to IBM Maximo 6 upgrade program, version 6.5.1. If you have not received this latest version of the Maximo 6 upgrade, you can order this new Maximo 6 upgrade media by completing the Maximo Product Request Form below.
Note the Maximo 6.2.4 to v7 Upgrade is a component of the v7 product installation. There is no separate Upgrade media required for this part of the upgrade process. You use the Product Request Form to request upgrade media for Maximo upgrades 3-4, 4-5, or 5-6.

Existing Maximo 5 or 6 customers that utilize the BEA WebLogic component must also use the Product Request Form to request the WebLogic 9 media that is installed with Maximo v7. Note that WebLogic 9 is only available for existing WebLogic users and cannot be used with prior Maximo versions. All requests for WebLogic 9 will only be processed after verification of this product entitlement. Maximo 4 (and lower versions) customers cannot request WebLogic 9. IBM WebSphere is the only allowable Application Server component available to customers that are upgrading from Maximo 4.1.1 or lower.
