Problem(Abstract)
WorkSpaceException and RepositoryException during WebSphere Service Registry and Repository install or update
 
Symptom
During install or update of WebSphere Service Registry and Repository, you see the following error:


WASX7303I: The following options are passed to the scripting environment and are available as arguments that are stored in the argv variable: "[arguments]"

WASX7017E: Exception received while running file "W:\SERVIC~3\install\\jython\update.py"; exception information: com.ibm.websphere.management.exception.ConfigServiceException

com.ibm.ws.sm.workspace.WorkSpaceException: RepositoryException while retry updating documents in master repository

WASX7341W: No "save" was performed before the interactive scripting session exited; configuration changes will not be saved.

 
Cause
This is caused by WebSphere AppServer APAR PK79489, which is available in 6.1.0.25 and 7.0.0.5
