Abstract
WebSphere Service Registry and Repository v6.1 fails to install with WebSphere Application Server 6.1.0.15 ( Fix Pack 15 ).
 
Content
WebSphere Service Registry and Repository (WSRR) v6.1 fails to install on WebSphere Application Server v6.1.0.15 (FixPack 15) unless fixes for the following WebSphere Application Server APARs are applied:
    PK51829            
    PK63203            
    PK65395            
    PK64379

The above APARs are included with WebSphere Application Server 6.1.0.17 (FixPack 17).

For WSRR v6.1, install to be successful you need to have any of the following WebSphere Application Server fixes :
  • WebSphere Application Server 6.1.0.13
  • WebSphere Application Server 6.1.0.15 (and fixes for PK51829, PK63203, PK65395,PK64379) or
  • WebSphere Application Server 6.1.0.17


To Determine the WebSphere Application Server Version:
  • This is indicated in the home page of the WebSphere Application Server admin console (in the About this Integrated Solutions Console).
  • You can use the <was_home>/bin/versionInfo.bat or versionInfo.sh.
  • You can look at the traces, the second line of the SystemOut.log indicates the version of WebSphere Application Server. For example, WebSphere Platform 6.1 [ND 6.1.0.13 cf130745.06] [WSRR 6.1.0.3 20080527_0800] running with process name.
