SA02: WebSphere Service Registry and Repository Eclipse plug-in
Downloadable files
Abstract
This SupportPac allows developers to interact with the WebSphere® Service Registry and Repository server to create, retrieve and update artefacts from their Eclipse environment.
Download Description
The WebSphere Service Registry and Repository (WSRR) Eclipse user interface (UI) is supplied as an Eclipse Archive site zip file which, when installed, provides a new view, the Service Registry view, in your Eclipse workbench (for example, Rational Software Architect).
The Service Registry view can be used to search for and retrieve artefacts from WSRR. New artefacts which have been developed within the Eclipse workbench can also be published from the Navigator view into WSRR.
There are two downloads; one for use in an Eclipse with an IBM JRE and one for use in an Eclipse with a Sun v6 JRE.
Possible Uses
• Queries can be submitted to WSRR, and artefacts can be retrieved in order to edit them within the Eclipse environment. These, or new ones, can be published to the WSRR to share with others.
• Additional relationships and properties can be added to any of the artefacts that have been retrieved into the Service Registry view.
• Collections of artefacts can be retrieved from or created in WSRR.
Skill Level Required
Familiarization with the Eclipse environment and the WSRR.
New in this Release
• Support added for v6.3.
