RHEL 5 x86-32 and x86-64 support for IBM Tivoli Network Manager IP Edition 3.7
Content
IBM Tivoli Network Manager IP Edition 3.7 is now supported on RHEL 5 x86-32 and x86-64 platform. Please refer to the ITNM IP 3.7 Installation and Deployment Guide. Additional Requirements for Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS, ES, and WS 5 If installing IBM Tivoli Network Manager IP Edition 3.7 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, you must ensure that the following RPMs are available on your system prior to the installation:
compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-61.i386.rpm
libXp-1.0.0-8.i386.rpm
These files should be available on the installation CDs for the operating system.
Additional Info Certification test was conducted on: a) Client(s): Windows XP SP2 and Windows Vista b) Database(s): MY SQL 5.0 and Oracle 10G R2 c) Browser(s): Firefox 2.0 and IE 7 d) JRE(s): Sun JRE 1.5, 1.6 and IBM JRE 5.0
Test was also successfully completed on 3 additional components of the Administration Toolset namely Reporting, Topology Management and Maintenance, which are features of IBM Tivoli Network Manager IP Entry Edition.
