IBM Encryption Key Manager (EKM)
IBM is deprecating the EKM available in Java 6.0 and will be removing it from the JDK in a future release.
The IBM EKM is a lightweight application bundled with the JDK in Java 6.0. This application is used as a key server for certain IBM tape unit devices. These hardware devices use the keys that EKM sends to encrypt or decrypt data at the same time as they are written on or read from the tapes. EKM is superseded by the Tivoli Key License Manager (TKLM).
IBM Monitoring and Diagnostic Tools for Java - Health Center
The Health Center is a diagnostic and analysis tool for monitoring Java applications, using only a small amount of processor time and memory.
The tool is provided in two parts; the Health Center agent that collects data from a running application and a client based on the IBM Support Assistant that connects to the agent, interpreting the data and providing recommendations to improve the performance of the monitored application.
A Health Center agent is included with service refresh 5. See the link below for more information on the Health Center.
