This issue can affect all WebSphere Commerce users trying to install WebSphere Commerce Developer Feature Pack 1. Installation Manager has the ability to update itself before installing other packages. Once Installation Manager updates itself to 1.4, the above error will occur.
The WebSphere Commerce Interim Fix for JR37262 available on this page is an Installation Manager repository that provides modifications to the WebSphere Commerce Developer Feature Pack 1 install metadata to work around the problem. Adding this repository to Installation Manager will allow Installation Manager 1.4 to proceed with the installation. There are no changes to the actual product code or product behavior, only install-related metadata is modified.
This Interim Fix is not needed if Installation Manager 1.4.1 or higher is used to install the WebSphere Commerce Developer Feature Pack 1.
