Hardware requirements:
- Two or more pSeries or compatible servers, with 256 MB memory and 100 MB disk space. (one or more for the production DB2 server, one or more for the offloaded data movement)
Software requirements:
- AIX V5.2 (32-bit or 64- bit)
or AIX V5.3 (32-bit or 64-bit)
- DB2 UDB 8.2 (64-bit), or later
- Tivoli Storage Manager AIX client V5.3.3
- Tivoli Storage Manager server V5.3.2 or later

Hardware requirements:
- For Enterprise Storage Server:
IBM Enterprise Storage Server Model 800, with advanced FlashCopy feature, selected to match expected FlashCopy backup requirements.

- IBM CIM Agent for DS Open API V5.1.0.17, or later V5.1.x levels
- Tivoli Storage Manager AIX client V5.3.3

- Enterprise Storage Server CopyServices CLI V1.5.2.1, or later. Note: The incremental flashcopy function requires ESS CopyServices CLI V2.3.0, or later, and advanced FlashCopy feature.
