Troubleshooting
Problem
Missing Key Exception (MKE) due to invalid netmask entered for the interface.
Cause
This has been identified as a product defect under APAR IV01732
Diagnosing The Problem
The problem manifests itself when storing the data in the AixComputerSystem as the information about the network interfaces is gathered by the SessionSensor.
Check the SessionSensor.log for the ifconfig / netmask output. This should show an invalid netmask for the interface for the target IP.
Example:
2012-02-07 11:05:13,266 DiscoverManager [DiscoverWorker-4]
SessionSensor-10.62.129.73-[22] DEBUG session.SshSessionClient -
Command stdout:

Resolving The Problem
The issue was addressed via IV01732 which changed TADDM behavior. This fix was included in TADDM version 7.2.0.8 and 7.2.1.1 and above. Once these code levels are applied, TADDM removing the netmask requirement, no longer requires a valid netmask in order to store the sensor results.
If an immediate code change is not possible, please use the ifconfig command to correct the netmask.
