For VTAM V4R2 (VM/VSE), an OS/2-based program is available that asks you questions about your VTAM configuration and estimates the storage that you will need to load and run VTAM.

To use the "Estimating Storage for VTAM" program:
Download the following files to your hard drive by left-clicking on the "FTP" link in the "Download Package" section below and then left-clicking on "Save" when prompted to download the file vtmse42.zip:
Storage Estimates for VTAM V4R2 (SK2T-2007-01 with TNL SN61-0115) [ZIP format - 1.1 MB]
At an OS/2 prompt, change to the directory containing the file.
Unpack the files with an unzip program.
To install the program, from an OS/2 command prompt, type: install and press Enter. Follow the instructions on the panels.
