End of Service (EOS) of Lotus Enterprise Integrator, Notes, and Domino 6.5.x

| | | Abstract | | This document announces the End of Service of the Lotus Enterprise Integrator, Notes, and Domino® 6.5.x series in April 2010. Please read the details below. | | | |  | | | Content | In accordance with the standard IBM Software Group release management process and our commitment to continuous improvement of our product line, IBM Lotus software announced that effective April 30, 2010, Lotus Notes® and Lotus® Domino® server releases 6.5.x and IBM Lotus Enterprise Integrator (LEI) 6.5.x will be retired from service. The 7.x and 8.x code streams for Notes, Domino, and LEI remain in service.
6.5.6 is the last Maintenance Release for the 6.5.x release. Customers who encounter issues in 6.5.x that are not addressed in 6.5.6 but are fixed in a later release are encouraged to upgrade. For those customers where upgrading is not an option, a PMR can be escalated for fix evaluation. A fix is not guaranteed and will be evaluated on a case by case basis to determine if a fix can be safely backported to an earlier release. Any pervasive issues that impact many customers will be addressed in Fix Packs on top of 6.5.6. To check the status of 6.5.6 Fix Packs (FPs) please refer to the Notes/Domino Fix List web page.
