Abstract
The list below identifies supported software options by operating system for IBM® WebSphere® Virtual Enterprise Version 6.1.
For z/OS® systems there is one feature: Virtual Enterprise.
For the distributed systems, Virtual Enterprise is comprised of two features: a controller and a node. The controller runs on IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment Version 6.1 and the node runs on WebSphere Application Server as well as other middleware servers.

Minimum requirements:
To install and run the product in an existing WebSphere Application Server environment, your system must contain WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment Version 6.1.0.7 or later.
Supported software:
Select the operating system where WebSphere Extended Deployment is running to view supported software options.
