PK78629 resolves the following problem:
A nodedetectinfo change, a NodeCPU reading from asyncPMI and a server state change happens at the same time causing a deadlock.
All users of WebSphere Virtual Enterprise Version 6.1
A deadlock occurred among threads processing asyncPMI data.
When processing the data, one thread did not follow the necessary locking order. As a result, a deadlock occurred.
The thread has been corrected to use the correct locking order.
