Assembler issues when migrating to LE and/or AMODE31

 Periodical

Abstract
SHARE, August 2003, presentation material for session 8216, Assembler Issues When Migrating to LE and/or Amode 31.

When migrating to Language Environment, sometimes you need to change your Assembler programs; sometimes you don't. It depends. For example, ABEND0CA decimal overflow in your assembler never used to happen, now it does. Or ABENDS0CA doesn't happen when your assembler is called from COBOL, but does happen when called from C or PL/I.
