Abstract
The IBM Monitoring and Diagnostic Tools for Java - Health Center is a lightweight tool that monitors IBM Virtual Machines for Java with minimal performance overhead. The Health Center V1.1 is available for the IBM Support Assistant.
 
Content
The IBM Monitoring and Diagnostic Tools for Java - Health Center is a lightweight tool that monitors IBM Virtual Machines for Java with minimal performance overhead. Version 1.1 is now available for external download as part of IBM Support Assistant v4. The new features in this version include:
  • Support for monitoring IBM WebSphere Real Time for Linux virtual machines
  • Ability to establish a new connection without restarting the Health Center client
  • Viewing of connection details and status
  • Ability to change graph units (to date or clock time, for example)
  • Improved recommendations for connection status


The Health Center can monitor IBM JVMs running on AIX, Linux, z/OS, and Microsoft Windows.
