Error description
Schema validation does not fail text ending with CR/LF despite defined Schema restriction. For example this pattern does not allow for any white space: xsd:pattern value="[1-3][0-9]" With CR/LF at the end of text being validated, there was no validation failure.

Problem summary
Affected is Schema validation with pattern restriction. Schema validation does not fail text ending with CR/LF despite of defined Schema restriction. There was a mistake in translation of SCRE (Schema regular expression) to PCRE (Perl compatible regular expression).
Problem conclusion
The SCRE to PCRE translation has been fixed. Fix is available in 3.7.3.15, 3.8.0.9 and 3.8.1.7.
