IBM Tivoli Storage Manager HSM for Windows requires the following hardware and software:
o System - 1.4GHz (x64 processor)
- Recommended: 2GHz or faster
o Minimum memory and space requirements
- 1 GB of memory
- 100 MB of available disk space
o One of the following Tivoli Storage Manager Servers:
- Tivoli Storage Manager V5.5 or higher
- Tivoli Storage Manager Extended Edition V5.5 or higher
o Tivoli Storage Manager V6.1 Windows backup-archive client
o Tivoli Storage Manager V6.1 Windows Client API
The backup-archive client and client API must be at the same PTF level as the HSM for Windows client, or at a greater PTF level than the HSM for Windows client.
o Any of the following Windows versions that support NTFS V5:
- Windows 2008 Server (64-bit)
- Windows 2008 Enterprise Server (64-bit)
