Error description

  • After the Dmgr has been restarted the first undeploy of some
    JMS binding applications fail.

    * USERS AFFECTED: Users of Websphere Enterprise Service Bus    *
    *                 or Websphere Process Server v6.1.x or v6.2   *
    *                 or v7 who attempt to undeploy an             *
    *                 application which uses JMS bindings          *
    *                 immediately following a restart of the Dmgr. *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When attempting to uninstall            *
    *                      applications which use JMS Bindings     *
    *                      after first restart of Dmgr an          *
    *                      IllegalArgumentException is thrown.     *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: If you encounter this problem then you are   *
    *                 advised to install the fix pack  which       *
    *                 contains the code update associated with     *
    *                 this APAR.                                   *
    ****************************************************************
    Following a restart of the Dmgr, the first undeploy of certain
    JMS applications fail, giving an IllegalArgumentException.
    
    For users running WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus or
    WebSphere Process Server V6.0.2.5 this issue if resolved by
    applying both JR31131 and IC65326.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The code was modified such that the Exception is not thrown
    and the application uninstalls correctly.
    
    There are no known side effects associated with this fix.
    There is no known alternative workaround should you encounter
    this problem.
    
    This code fix was targeted to be included in the following fix
    packs:
    
         6.1.0 Fix Pack 5 (v6.1.0.5)
         6.1.2 Fix Pack 4 (v6.1.2.4)
         6.2.0 Fix Pack 3 (v6.2.0.3)
         7.0.0 Fix Pack 3 (v7.0.0.3)
