Internet Explorer 7 compatibility with Lotus QuickPlace

Technote (FAQ)

Question

Is Microsoft® Internet Explorer 7, which was released on 18 October 2006, a supported browser for use with Lotus® QuickPlace®?

Answer

Testing of Internet Explorer 7 and Lotus QuickPlace has been completed, and we are not aware of any problems with using the two products together with a supported operating system. Therefore, Internet Explorer 7 is considered a supported browser for Lotus QuickPlace 6.5.1 and 7.0 when used with a supported version of Microsoft Windows (Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP Professional). Users might be prompted once to allow Internet Explorer 7 to install the Microsoft DHTML Editing Control, which is required to create pages in QuickPlace.
Supported Web browsers and operating systems for current versions of QuickPlace can be found in the product Release Notes or the System Requirements pages.
