Impact to IBM WebSphere MQ Everyplace by Daylight Saving Time introduction to Western Australia as of Sunday, 03 December, 2006

Abstract
Western Australia will began a three year trial in changing Daylight Saving Time (DST) on Sunday, December 3, 2006. This change will have an effect on any time dependent software or operating system, primarily for those computer systems in the directly affected area, but any server across the world as well which could be accessed by a system in Western Australia.

WebSphere MQ Everyplace is not directly impacted by Extended Daylight Saving Time changes in Western Australia.

The dates affected are as follows:

03 December 2006 - 25 March 2007
28 October 2007 - 25 March 2008
26 October 2008 - 29 March 2009

Failure to accommodate the date change may lead to inaccurate data recorded or displayed.
