Announcement: Apache Geronimo Version 2.1.4 is now available

Abstract
Apache Geronimo provides a platform to support situational as well as multi-tier enterprise applications with no up-front costs. Apache Geronimo Server V2.1.4 is a lightweight Open Source-based application server which is certified to the Java Enterprise Edition 5 (Java EE 5) specification. This is a maintenance release upgrade over Geronimo Server 2.1. It has many defect fixes not only for Geronimo but also other key components included in the server.

This maintenance release includes many defect fixes. The main focus area in the service release is the security. Many security fixes have been included in this service release for various components of the server.
