DST fixes for the Device Manager component of WebSphere Everyplace Deployment

The IBM Time Zone Update Utility for Java will be needed to update the JRE used by Device Manager Server in the following locations:

1. Every machine where the DMS console is installed, the following JRE will need to be updated:
    console_install_root/prereqs/jre

2. Search for the JRE folder under the DMS server installation and update that JRE.
    WED server_install_root/DMS/console/prereqs/jre
  • Under the following directory, there will be a JRE installed for documents and configuration which will need to be updated by this tool:
      WED server_install_root/DMS/java
3. There is a DMSconsole.zip file on the Web server in the following directory:
    install_root\htdocs\en_us\dms\console
You have to update the JRE in the DMSconsole.zip file, so any future installation of the DMS console does not require you to update the DMSconsole JRE with this tool.
    a. Unzip the DMSconsole.zip file to a directory.

    b. Update the prereq/jre from the directory where you unzipped the DMSconsole.zip file (in step a).

    c. Zip this directory back to the DMSconsole.zip file.

    d. Replace the DMSconsole.zip file in the following directory with the new zip file:
    install_root\htdocs\en_us\dms\console
