Changes to Daylight Savings Time will affect IBM Relationship Resolution, IBM Identity Resolution and IBM Anonymous Resolution and their associated operating systems

Abstract
Information about the impact of the US Energy Policy Act of 2005, which changes the effective dates of US Daylight Saving Time (DST) in 2007. Actions are required to address this issue in IBM® Relationship Resolution, IBM Identity Resolution and IBM Anonymous Resolution and their associated Operating Systems and Database Servers.
 
Content
The passage of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 alters the Daylight Saving Time (DST) start and stop dates by four weeks. Extended Daylight Saving Time will begin in March of 2007. As a result of this change, maintenance or actions will be required for IBM Relationship Resolution, IBM Identity Resolution, IBM Anonymous Resolution and operating systems. Information about the Energy Policy Act can be found on the US Department of Energy Web Site.

The Energy Policy Act changes the effective dates of DST. Beginning in 2007, DST start and end dates will be:
  • Start date: Second Sunday of March
  • End date: First Sunday of November

IBM Relationship Resolution, IBM Identity Resolution and IBM Anonymous Resolution V3.9.X and V4.1.0.X Hot Fix 283 is now available for download.
