This document describes how to download and assemble WebSphere Integration Developer version 7.0.0.3 Interim Fix 002 for Linux platform.

WebSphere Integration Developer V7.0.0.3 Interim Fix 002 contains updates for the following:
  • Activity editor
  • Business process editor
  • Getting started menu
  • Integration test client
  • Migration
  • Relationships
  • XML mapping editor
  • XPath editor

Note:

Some fixes in this Interim Fix also need to apply a fix package to the runtime. See this link for more information on the fix package.

The runtime interim fix XC70031 available from this link updates the business object lazy parsing mode which is now supported for use with mediation components in WebSphere Process Server and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus version 7.0.0 Fix Pack 3. This runtime interim fix extends the support for use of business object lazy parsing mode to include use with mediation flow components.

The business object eager parsing mode (which corresponds with the business object parsing mode in all previous version 6.x releases) continues to be the default in version 7.0.0.3, and remains the business object parsing mode for production use for any module that contains mediation flow components.

Prerequisites

Prior to applying this Interim Fix, if the Interim Fix will be installed directly from the IBM update server, then you must have WebSphere Integration Developer 7.0 or higher installed. If the Interim Fix will be installed locally, then you must have WebSphere Integration Develop V7.0.0.3 Fix Pack installed. Also, ensure that you have the latest version of the IBM Installation Manager.

Installation Instructions

It is recommended that you install the Interim Fix directly from the IBM update server; however, it is also available for download. You might want to download and install the Interim Fix in the following situations:

  • You have a slow or unstable Internet connection and want to use a download manager that can resume the download.

  • You have difficulty accessing the live IBM update servers from behind a firewall.

  • You prefer to download the Interim Fix and install it later.

If you choose to download the fix, then perform the following steps:
  1. Download Interim Fix 002 (wid7003_interim_fix002.zip).

  2. Extract the Interim Fix to a temporary directory, such as C:\temp\.

  3. For installation instructions, click on the link below.
