Update required for the test client to work with a stand-alone server or some test client interim fixes to work on both the stand-alone server and the server installed.
Download Description
If you are using a stand-alone WebSphere Process Server or WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus rather than the instance of a WebSphere Process Server or WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus that is included with WebSphere Integration Developer, you will find that the integration test client will not work. This problem is a result of some essential test controller JAR files missing from the WebSphere Process Server or WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus lib directory.
When a missing update is detected, the following message is displayed: Apply the integration test client update to the server.
In addition, some integration test client interim fixes require an update to the server, whether the server is stand-alone, or installed with WebSphere Integration Developer.
When an integration test client interim fix requires a server update, the latest Fix List that is published along with the interim fix will note this fact and contain a link to this document.
Prerequisites
You must have WebSphere Process Server or WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus installed.
Installation Instructions
This fix is installed through the Update Installer. Full instructions are in the Readme at the link below.
Notes:
To download the package, click on either the WID-IntegrationTestClient-6.0.1.2 or the WID-IntegrationTestClient-6.0.2.2 link below depending on which version of WebSphere Integration Developer that you have.
Note that although the Integration Test Client Enablement file name indicates "6.0.1.2" in the link below, the update is compatible with 6.0. This means that you do not need to upgrade to WebSphere Integration Developer V6.0.1.2 to apply the Integration Test Client Enablement below, it can be applied on 6.0.1.
It is recommended that you use the IBM Update Installer for WebSphere Software to uninstall any previous versions of the IBM WebSphere Integration Developer - Test Client Enablement before proceeding with this installation.
When using Microsoft Internet Explorer, note that the file is downloaded as a .zip instead of a .pak. Ensure that the file is renamed to .pak to be applied using the Update Installer.
