Abstract
This document provides access to the IBM Information Server plug-in for WebSphere Integration Developer (optional feature).
 
Download Description
The IBM Information Server plug-in for WebSphere Integration Developer provides integration with IBM Information Server.

The Information Service activity supports the integration of information services in business processes. It enables you to discover and invoke operations on IBM Information Server and offers direct access to relational database management systems through full SQL support.

The Enterprise Service Discovery support for IBM Information Server provides an extension to the Enterprise Service Discovery Wizard to discover and import services from IBM Information Server into a module.
 
Prerequisites
Before installing this feature, you must have WebSphere Integration Developer V6.0.2 installed.

If you disabled any product features by modifying the feature.xml files or through the Update Manager by clicking Help > Software Updates > Manage Configuration, you must enable them before you install this optional feature.
 
 
Installation Instructions
It is recommended that you install the feature directly from the IBM update server, however, it is also available for download. You might choose to download and install the feature in the following situations:
  • You have a slow or unstable Internet connection and want to use a download manager that can resume the download.

  • You have difficulty accessing the live IBM update servers from behind a firewall.

  • You prefer to download the feature and install it later.

If you choose to download the feature, then perform the following steps:
  1. Download the file info_server_plugin_optional_feature.

  2. Extract the feature to a temporary directory, such as C:\temp.

  3. For installation instructions, open C:\temp\install_local_info_server_plugin_optional_feature_6021.html.
