Abstract
The following changes are not yet available in the published version of the Application Performance Analyzer for z/OS® Version 8.1 Customization Guide publication.

The following documentation updates are a result of APAR PK66663.
Topic: Chapter 2. Customizing Application Performance Analyzer
Date: June, 2008

Change description #1: In the "Started task configuration settings" section, in the ‘Config statement parameters’ topic, a bullet will be added for the Class parameter that contains a new value of OPER below the LOGFILE value.

Change description #2: In the "Started task configuration settings" section, immediately after the details for the CONFIG LOGFILE statement, the following information will be added for the new CONFIG OPER statement:

    CONFIG OPER statement
    These settings pertain to operational parameters that are not generally changed by the user. These should only be changed on the advice of the IBM support team. Application Performance Analyzer for z/OS ships with only one parameter specified, which is DiagLevel=1.

Change description #1: There is a description for all settings on the CONFIG SAMPLE statement; one of these being DSPMaxSize. The original maximum is 519,288. Please change the maximum of DSPMaxSize to 514,288 as follows:

The minimum amount that can be specified is 30,000, the maximum is 514,288.
