    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Change package ADD GROUP commands do *
    *                      not support BEFORE/AFTER positional     *
    *                      placement into a CSD LIST.              *
    ****************************************************************
    Processing commands can be defined for a change package to add a
    GROUP to a CSD LIST. However, the GROUP is always appended to
    the LIST as BEFORE/AFTER positional placement is not supported.

    The CICS TS transaction CEDA and batch utility DFHCSDUP both
    support add Group BEFORE/AFTER positional placement. Similar
    function is sought in CICS Configuration Manager for z/OS.

Problem conclusion

  • CICS Configuration Manager for z/OS is changed so that Change
    package commands to add a GROUP to a LIST support BEFORE/AFTER
    positional placement. Positioning information is also preserved
    when the target Configuration references export files in
    DFHCSDUP or CCM format.
