Database connection pool exhaustion in high transaction environments

Abstract
A problem with database connection pool exhaustion in high transaction environments has been identified by an RPM client. While it is not known if the application of Rational Portfolio Manager version 7.1.1.2 iFix003 has caused this situation, high level resources are actively working with the client to investigate and resolve the situation. Until the root cause is identified, we are making the following recommendations.

For those who have not yet implemented this version, the recommendation is to stay at version 7.1.1.2 iFix002 until such time that 7.1.1.2 iFix004 is available.
For those who have already migrated to 7.1.1.2 iFix003, please contact Support immediately to receive guidance on how to proceed.
