Download Description
IBM Lotus QuickPlace 7.0 i5/OS Enabling Fix for Domino 7.0.1 Multilingual is required in order for QuickPlace 7.0 servers on i5/OS to run on Domino 7.0.1. You can download this fix using the links below, or the fix is also available on the Passport Advantage Web site for subscribers.
-- If you are deploying QuickPlace for the first time, you should install Domino 7.0.1 and QuickPlace 7.0. Then install the Enabling Fix for Domino 7.0.1 before configuring your QuickPlace server.
Upgrade:
-- If you plan to install the Enabling Fix for 7.0.1, you must have QuickPlace 7.0 installed. Therefore, if you are currently using Team Workplace 6.5.1, you should first complete the upgrade to QuickPlace 7.0.
-- If you have installed any QuickPlace 7.0 hot fixes, you must remove them before installing the Enabling Fix for Domino 7.0.1.
-- You can install the QuickPlace enabling fix before or after installing Domino 7.0.1 and upgrading your QuickPlace server to Domino 7.0.1. However, you must complete the Domino upgrade and install the Enabling Fix before you start the server and attempt to use QuickPlace.
-- If you have multiple QuickPlace servers running in the same i5/OS LPAR, you must upgrade all of them to Domino 7.0.1 when you install the Enabling Fix for Domino 7.0.1. It is not possible to run QuickPlace 7.0 on any Domino release other than 7.0.1 once you have installed the Enabling Fix for Domino 7.0.1. (Domino multiversioning permits you to run other Domino or Sametime servers in the same LPAR using different Domino releases if you prefer. Only the QuickPlace servers must use Domino 7.0.1 if you install this Enabling Fix.)
Prerequisites
5724J24 V7R0M0 QuickPlace 7.0 for i5/OS must already be installed on your i5/OS server before you install the Enabling Fix for Domino 7.0.1.
